Body Fat %: 12.5%

First off, I am excited to have dropped my body fat % by 2 percent in one week. Especially since last week I had gained 1%. My food choices were smarter this past week. If you like shrimp, I recommend the Naked brand (it’s frozen in a black bag) the only ingredient is shrimp and it’s a little cheaper than the fresh shrimp. But if you have some extra splurging money, then definitely get the fresh shrimp. So delicious! Chicken and beef were great protein sources for me this week.  Nuts like almonds, pecans, and cashews were snack choices that kept me full and exterminated any cravings.

I’m going to try to post other fitness posts on here (workout routines, recipes, etc.) along with my weekly updates to give anyone advice that I’ve learned for those that are looking to make health changes in their lives. I can admit that I don’t know everything; health advice is always updating as the years go by. Whole wheat used to be a “hot topic” food where now whole wheat is avoided by many due to insulin rises and empty calories.

I also want all of you to know that if you eat something unhealthy, don’t panic. It’s much healthier to accept the fact of the matter than stress yourself out. You’re not going to die by consuming it one day. But if you’re eating unhealthy meals day after day (ex. fast food at least once a day), then that can cause health problems down the road let alone furthering you farther away from getting a tight stomach.
